Red face I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

I found this picture but cannot locate an actual manifold adaptor to call my own. If I can Identify the manufacturer then I have a chance of buying one. I appologies if I missed the proper forum to do this but I really want to get some info on this item.
Thank you for your time and consideration

Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

you want to turbo you/a mustang? am i right in thinking that?

there are far superior designs than that, you want what's known as a blow-through system, where a turbo blows the air through the carb, instead of drawing air and fuel through the turbo.

it would also save you from having a complex and long piping system.

the problem is, you may need parts to be custom-made, after searching the net for kits for mustangs of the generation you have (65, correct?) i couldn't find anything.

do you know the website that picture came from? if you know that, i might be able to find you that part.

Smile Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

thak you for your fast reply.
I have owned turbo four banger fords in the past (79 turbo mustang) The early turbo systems, at least OEM were Draw thru not blow thru. When they started racing them they found a need to cool down the charge before getting it into the intake or head. the best way was too cool the charge after the blower and before fuel. Birth of the intercooler. the runs were too long to carry fuel thru the intercooler for many reasons, pooling of fuel all over inside the system etc. etc. etc. My plan is to twin turbo a low compression 302 with over killed rotating assembly Forged everything!! Aluminum heads, blah blah blah. Using a MAX boost of 8-10 PSI the draw thru will be compact and should be relatively trouble free as long as my brain stays attached to my right foot.
The fabrication is no problem I work for a company that make Aircraft engines and we have a great welding department and they owe me favors. I found the picture on a geocite trolling for draw thru turbo info of any kind. The guy had a friend that picked up the intake with manifold at a flea market and then sold it at a swap meet in Florida aweek later for $200.
Any way finding this picture has only made me more resolute on finding a manifold. Thank you all for your time and consideration.

if fabrication isn't an issue, you can make your own. just have the carb fitted ahead of the turbo(s) then make your own plate (shape of the underside of the carb, where it bolts to the manifold) and have the boosted air inlet to engine there.

no, you see that under everyone's username, it's for reporting posts that are unacceptable or contain stuff they shouldn't. the report post is mainly used by the moderating staff, but can be used by anyone if they need to report something, ie flaming/spam/trolling/etc..

Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

I would advise not doing draw thru. They either have horrible drivability, or you end up going with a very small carb to counter the drivability problem and end up with very poor performance.

There is no reason not to do a blow thru, its superior in every aspect. Tuning can be a small challenge, but there is tons of info on it to help you. There is a ford mustang forum dedicated to blow thru's at www.turbomustangs.com/

Fabrication is also a snap. Intercooling is also very doable with blow thru.

Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

yeah, draw-through suck (ah-ha-ha, i know, it was poor.)

blow through is the best option, like unclebob said you can intercool it and you can use the existing intake manifold.

Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

Its an Edelbrock brand. You can see it on the right side of the manifold below the pipes.

Re: I need your help Identifying this adaptor!!

that's the intake itself, not the adaptor sitting atop it on the carb plate.
