New Wheels!

I just got 4 Brand new 1995/1996 Stealth TT 18 inch chrome wheels wrapped in new Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions. $$$$ but they look nice! The dealer here wants 1000 per wheel. Luckily I got them "alittle" cheaper

All I have to do is get it repainted because Im anal and it will be complete. I have about 6000 miles on the car after the TT conversion and it runs excellent still! I'll try to have more pics and updates when the snow melts. For those who are interested in what ive all done here is the partial list.
New 13gs
DN intercooler hard pipes
Boost controller and Greddy BOV
Precat elims front and rear.
Fidanza cam gears
custom exhaust
Stainless steel oil feed and return lines
Poly motor mounts
SFS LSD differential insert
oil, boost, and SafcII gauges + turbo timer
Im probably forgetting a few things but you get the picture.

Re: New Wheels!

Are these the wheels in your signature? No right...you are talking about the 6 spokes right? I didn't know the dealership still had any brand new ones. When I had my incident with the Turnpike and them paying for my wrecked wheels, I went to 2 dealerships and neither of them could find the stock wheels. I mean I know there are identical replicas on ebay for $250 each but...

Anyway, congrats either way. Just keep them waxed and away from winter salt. Nothing ruins them faster.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: New Wheels!

The car was most recently dyno'd at 295fwhp at 7psi, we are going to bump it up in the spring and try for more. I dont remember what the shop set the cam gears at, but it wasnt very aggressive. The wheels in my sig are the ones im talking about except new now, 5 spoke dodge stealth wheels. The 6 spoke were mitsu wheels. There arent any 5 spoke replicas that im aware of. The 18" five spoke wheels are extremely rare. Only put on 1995-1996 Twin turbos, so you can imagine.
Thanks for the comments

Re: New Wheels!

yeah, the dealer had like 8 left...lol. What happened was I nailed a pothole in the fall and cracked one of mine, the other 3 are peeling and dinged up too. So I just decided to get all new ones.

Re: New Wheels!

And they were only an option in 95, not standard equipment. So that makes them even more rare.
