Strange Problem with heater!

Hello,

I have a 94 GA with the 3.3.... the heater works fine as long as your moving at speed when comign to a stop the hot air turns cold. It's almost like it's a vacume switch not getting enough vaccume, anyone have an idea?

When driveing it on long distances as long as you don't come to a stop you have plenty of heat.

Re: Strange Problem with heater!

I'd say flush your cooling system.

Sounds like the heater cores partially pluged and at high rpms it pumps, at lower rpms it doesnt have enough pressure to flow through the heater core.

Could also be your water pump.
Check it for any leaks out the bottom of the weep holes on the water pump.

hope that helps
