01 Jetta VR6 ebrake won't dissengage
I drive a 2001 Jetta VR6 5speed and this morning when I was getting ready to leave for work, my ebrake wouldn't disengage. The brake light goes out, the brakes are stuck, and my ebrake handle feels really loose now.
 Anyone know how to take care of this?

Check to see how much brake pads you have left. If the pad thickness is ok than replace the e-brake cables.. there about 35.00 each at the vw dealer
