88 towncar minor problems

My parents decided to surprise me with a 1988 towncar for my senior year of high school, and although they love towncars, I don't think they made the wisest decision with the car.

The interior roof seems to have been replaced, which to me, indicates water damage. I don't really see any problem with that as it seems that a good job was done on it.

What is bugging me, however, is the front right turn signal light is damaged. The light still works, but it looks to me like the previous owner clipped a car or hit a pole. I want to replace the plastic covering for the light, but it looks like I will have to take the front bumper off... which I don't want to do.

Also, the speedometer cables make noise, the fuel gague doesn't work, and the low fuel light turns on somewhere between 1 and 3 gallons. Also, the thermometer doesn't work.

My father blew the AC by running it during the summer without giving it a coolant hit (the previous owner said he did... right.). I consider that to be a lost cause. Also, the drivers side mirror was ripped out of the socket. The motor still works, however I have a rubber band holding it in place... although it seems fairly secure without it. I might want to replace that as well.

Other than one or two dents that I will pop out when I get a chance, the body seems to be in very good condition... the vinyl on the top is in good condition (no rips, tears, cracking), and to my knowledge, all lights work.

What am I looking at with replacing the turn signal as in effort and time, as well as removing the dash to replace the gauges / sensors?
