MY car is a mess right now... its jerks then slows down jerks then slows down then it will take off.. this only happens sometime but more so recently. While driving it feels like itwants to stop. When i stop at a stop sign or light it will just shut off! but it always starts right back up no problem. My engine light has been on for months. I was told it was my 02 oxygen sensor they "repaired" it $382 come to find out they repaired the wrong one and the other mechani said they did a Hack Job on my car there was duck top all around that sensor
i was very upset. They told me i didn't have to get it repalced then cause it wasn'st goin to make my car stop so i let it go and now im haveing problems. The transsmision man said my tranny looked fine as far as the oil went but these codes keep popping up.. another mechanic said that my letting the oxygen sensor go can make my car read all kinds of incorrect data making the car reads codes that are actually fine... if thats the case why is my car acting up. im sooooooooooo confused as where to start i really really dont wantto get screwed again!
These are the codes that came up.
P0700 Tranmission Control Malfunction ( what exaclt does these mean)
P0152 02 Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 sensor 1
P0135 bank 1 sensor 1
P1776 (transmission)
P0731 Gear 1 Ratio incorrect ( what is this)
P0440 Exhaust Gas Recirculation ( the autozone told me a Gas Cap)
Basically im a lost soul and need some guidance what do i need to do any suggestions are welcomed.
P.S i get oil changes all 3-4,000 miles just had a tune up about 6 months ago... I dont know if i had my transmission serviced( does this come with a tune up) 92,000 total on car as of now
