Re: New scratch building material?

Is that your review? I like the "free" sample part. That's the way most plastics look before they get melted down into molds. For pretty much any type plastic. I saw that on Disco Channel Hmm..maybe adding a little bit of superglue+ that on small parts could be ok...We'll see how this goes. If goes not well...I guess I can make a little pill case out of it.

Re: New scratch building material?

That stuff has been around for at least 20 years under the name Friendly Plastic, but it is in sheets, at least the stuff I have is. The down side to it for model use is the compound. Polypropylene does not like cement, barely tolerates CA type, does not particularly like enamels or lacquers either. Some acrylics adhere to it. It won't replace putty, resin or the materials I currently use. I have a few sheets, but have not found a use for them that is better than other more common modeling materials. I can see how it might be useful for figures or organic shapes. Just my two cents... - Mark
