shocks and springs
i am about to buy these "KYB AGX 8 WAY ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS " from a guy off another mitsubishi message board.
i figure while im getting these, ill get new springs too. heres my problem. first of all i cant find a hex key big enough to fit the tuner lugs my car has, when i bought it, it already had rims, lowered, camber kit, whatever, and i never got a hex lug nut key. but thats not a big deal i just have to look around some. my problem is, because ive never had the wheel off, i dont know what type of suspension kit isgoing on down there. i do know i have kyb shocks, and tenzo springs i think? they might even be factory psrings, but i remember the guy saying they were different, i think it was two letters with a "&" in between, like "A&B", ore something. anyways when i go over bumps or just press down on the car it bounces a little, and the back tires(and maybe the front) scrape the inside of the wheel well when i hit bumps. so i want a stiffer ride. my question is, what type of springs would be good? also, could it be possible the springs are fine, and the shocks are just sagging? |

Re: shocks and springs
I'd say you're care is just too low. How big of rims are those, 18s? I would go for some Ground Control coilovers with your new KYB's and then you can adjust it to any height you want, and that's a pretty good suspension setup next to dropping $1200 for a new Tein setup.
