Question about exhaust
Does anyone have HKS sport system installed?
What about the flowmaster system? I'm looking for a black exhaust/muffler cause having a stainless can sitting side ways on my car look retarded to me.

I have heard the flowmaster system on an import before and it doesn't sound that good. Kinda buzzy and raspy throughout the powerband. The HKS system looks stock and almost sounds stock...just a little louder. If you don't like the stainless steel look why not just paint it flat black??

My car has a flowmaster on it, it was there when i bought it. I think it sounds pretty good. I haven't noticed it being really raspy or anything. It doesnt sound whiney either like a lot of exhaust systems ive heard.

AH HKS! I wanted this system SO bad for my car because you can obviously tell by my user name what kind of theme I wanted. When I ordered it, the supplier said he could get it for me in 3 weeks. 4 weeks went by and I call back and he said " duh, i think its on backorder or sumpin". What a reject. I was stuck going with thermal. I dont care for the Greddy that much because its a little more expensive and if Im gonna have a flashy exhaust I would like it to have a nice tone. The greddy isnt that loud at all.

Wait, so the HKS one looks like stock!?!? GREAT! Thats what i am gonna get then, i was gonna get the Apexi WS because its not loud and its kidna Low Profile, but now you say there is an exhaust that looks stock! Well, hell, i'm gonna get that then!

Hmmmm looks stock seems like the thing for me, how is the performance with HKS exhaust is it compariable to thermal and greddy and dc. If it is up with those guys iam very interested in it does anyone know if it shows a good performance record or is it down in the low gains but just changes the sound of the car.

Piper do a really stock looking performance backbox
i have one on mine .... not sure if ya can get there products in america goto http://www.needforspeed.co.uk and to the honda section and they have em there very standard ... if ya go for the evo one ... the stainless steel one is very shiny and i had one hell of a job trying to fit it to mine as its for a 1.6 hehe...
