B16's aren't the best engine to put a turbo on. I would suggest an LS motor. But if you are set on turboing your b16, it's still possible.

And it's t3/t4 turbo

As far as Australia is concerned, I can't help ya bro. I live in Texas. :bandit:

That has to be the stupidest thing ive ever read
you are a fool
the B16 has the best rod/stroke ratio of any honda motor and is perfect for high revs and boost because of the rod angles
you are such a fool stop talking out your ass

I don't know jack about where you are from, but I'd bet there is an online place that mail orders them new. If you are going to put it all together yourself, try to find someone locally that has experience with custom setups. I'm not sure if anyone sells a turbo kit for those. If you don't mind something used, I bet you could find one off of a dead Saab or Volvo or something at the boneyard.

b16's were never meant to be turbo'd, and are not that good for it, but...
It has, and can be done successfully, but there are still many reasons it is not a great turbo motor. Agreed it has a nice bore/stroke for high revs, but there is more to a motor than it's bore/stroke.

I don't know how you can justify calling someone a fool because they simply stated a well known fact...
"Better to leave your mouth closed and let everyone think you are a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it."

Well, I don't know the answer to the B16 vs. B18 question. I've heard that the B18 is better for turbo applications, but I've never heard any supporting reasons for that.

Personally, I know that Dropshop has quite a bit of experience with Turbo on various engines, so I would tend to take his word over most everyone elses on this forum...

That's my 1¢ + 1¢

this is what I found...

I checked out the entire site, and only saw 3 engines with turbo. Not a single one was a b16.

Unless you truly have personal experience with his work, I don't think his word is worth anymore than anyone elses. I also don't see any timeslips.

My friends have more cars and mods than that site; I wasn't impressed. Everyone and thier grandma has a website these days.

I'm not talking anyone down, It's just that what you are saying has no apparent backing.
