Re: 91 blaz Lt Spark Controller???

Could be a few things. did you check the circuit for the module to make sure it is getting the proper voltage (not low or high voltage)? Do you install the module properly, they need to be installed with silicone lube on the bottom of them or they will overheat and burn out.

Re: 91 blaz Lt Spark Controller???

two wires on one plug wht 11.3v pink 11.3v four wires on second plug
wht 0.7v purp 0v tan 0v blk 1.0v I didn't find any grounds. When i connect them to the module i get 10v on both prongs (distrb side). please note voltages might be a little lower than normal from cranking over. batt reads 12.5 with acc on. There is power but is it right ? I don't have a clue.
Maby i'm missing something. truck looses spark changed cap wires..ect..complete dist, coil even changed ignition.

Re: 91 blaz Lt Spark Controller???

I have to look at the wiring diagrams for this before I can comment. I will post as soon as I can, or if course someone can come up with the information quicker than I can, by all means....

Re: 91 blaz Lt Spark Controller???

Thank You Blazes9395. I found the problem was in the connector. I started to notice power loss on the meter. And when i fiddled a bit more with the wires power would return. That explains the ghostly symptoms. I can't belive
i was foiled by a loose wire, Although it had to be just so to lose power this would explain why it would work after i changed it. THANKS Again
