Chevy Nomad

I finally got my Nomad finished. I have been wanting to do this build for quite some time now. The engine block is painted Boyd Red, yes that is Boyd Codington. That was going to be the originel color for the car with metalic black. After seeing how dark it was I decided to go woth a metalic red, but then decided that GM torch red would be a better contrast with the metalic black. The interior is tamiya white and red, simple. It took forever to do all the BMF but it all part of the challenge. Hope you all like her and thanks to those who responded to the WIP you offered some very encouraging words.

Re: Chevy Nomad

That looks absolutely fantastic--and the engine bay has just the right amount of detail to not be cluttered. Awesome work. I'd hold onto this one for A.F.M.O.T.Y. 2k7

Thanks, that's very much appriciated. I thought about building something for A.M.F.M.O.T.Y. but I wasn't planning on it being this one when I built it. Maybe I will submit two.

Re: Chevy Nomad

I almost forgot the chassis. I didn't spend all that time on it for nothing.

Re: Chevy Nomad

That is looking very sharp!
To be a little nitpicking you should get rid of the mold line on top of the radiator as everything else is looking so good.
Sorry about that, just thought it was a pity to have it there.

Thank you for the peek.
