97 Grand Am Leak Antifreeze Pass. Side
Hello,
I love this site! Anyways, I was wondering what anyone thought about my problem? I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand AM 3100 V6 leaking antifreeze on the passenger side of the engine under the powersteering/altenator. The heator core was replace not too long before this happend too. What happend? I was driving down the road heard a ping, ping and then the car started getting hot. I stopped and looked thought it might be the water pump and replaced it already. What might this be? Thanks, For all the help anyone wishes to add. RH |

if its leaking under those components I'd say your lower intake may be leaking. They tend to leak on either end of the block.

Quote:
A dealer could charge between $800-1200, and independant shop can usually do them cheaper, anywhere from $600-1000. Take your pick
