Rescuing an old Road Champs 57 Chevy
Found this at my parents house today, one of my childhood playthings. Decided to give it new life. And I figured while I was at it, I might as well document it. So here goes:
Road Champs 57 Chevy. Not sure of the year, but its pretty cool. Here's a few pics before I started the process: ![]() ![]() Then drill out the rivets and disassemble. Also discovered at this point that the doors opened. ![]() Picked up some stripper today at KMart, and tossed the body in. The other body in the bucket is a GTO I'm workin on. ![]() And here is how she lies as of right now. Just finished scraping the remaining paint spots out with an Xacto and a toothpick. Tommorrow, my mission is to find a suitable set of wheels, and start the paint process.

Well, I picked out a set of wheels for it, and adjusted the suspension. Just need paint and shes all set.
