my civic idles real low when i stop

it idles realy low when i stop and sometimes will cut off on me. I really dont know what it is, so many people tellin me so many things and i cant change dem all.
HELP ME

check your spark plugs. are you throwing any check engine light codes?

naw its not the sparks or the distributor i canged all that... and my check light isnt on, some says it might b my egr valve i just want to make sure before i start messin with things

EGR valve is a possibility..but does the idle only go down or does it go from high rpm to low and back up, if yes then it's almost 100% sure it's a vacuum line that is either cut, disconnected or just all bent up!!..there is also a possibility that you have a disconnected,cut, etc.. vacuum and a defective tps sensor which will make that it will rev high and low because of the vacuum but since the throttle position sensor wouldn't work it won't stop your car from just revving way to low resulting it to turn off!!

It idles below 1, and when i stop it goes down and most of the time it would shut off unless i have my ac runnin it will sometimes kick it back up a little, and it would stay up untill the next time i stop. So everytime im drivin ill have my ac runnin... it prevents the cutin off alot.
