Engine stalls during turns

I just posted a thread about an ongoing transmission problem with my '89 88 (engine series:3800, fuel injected;recently replaced trans) where my car won't shift until a high RPM. I forgot to mention another trans problem where the trans will donwshift while coasting. It doesn't matter how fast i am going, but i let off the gas, it will always downshift. I think this just led to another recent problem where the engine will stall during a turn. I think it is because the trans downshifts and the engine is running at idle speed so it stalls. If anyone knows any solutions, please help me out.
