Should I buy this SE-R?

I am looking at getting a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R with 37200 miles on it. However, it had been hit in the rear left quarter and CarFax reports frame damage. He says it's been repaired by a reputable body shop.

He only wants $8000 for it though. I really liked the car but really am worried about the frame damage.

Is there any way I can get a FULL and COMPLETE frame inspection that lets me know about the frame damage.

Everyone says to stay away from frame damaged cars but this is a really good price, esp. if the frame has been fixed fully.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Should I buy this SE-R?

bring it to a good body shop before you buy it. have them tell you if its worth getting.

Re: Should I buy this SE-R?

give him 7 for it and use 500 of the difference to have a body shop align the frame, use the other 500 you were going to spend on drugs, alcohol, gambling, badminton who cares

Re: Should I buy this SE-R?

and i would want to see receipts from the shop he had it repaired at, i would want him to take it to a shop while i rode with him and have them inspect and diagnose frame alignment while youre standing right there, after they clear it go for that shit, they are awesome cars to play with, if they dont give it anything other than a glowing rating, take him to jew school, offer him 5k on the spot and ask the body shop guy if he would buy a car for 8k in that type of shape

Does it have a clean title?? you didn't say...and that's really important a salvage title means the car is worth between 1/2 and 3/4 of a normal cars value.

I'm selling my spec soon also...so if you are still looking for one in a month or two and live anywhere near maine...send me a pm

Yeah, title's perfect. And the hit was only on the left rear quarter.

Re: Should I buy this SE-R?

title isnt perfect. theres still a salvage in the titles history, which will probably come up during a VIN/carfax check. like i said, take it to a body shop before you buy it. not the same shop that did the body work. get a couple of second opinions from some ASE certified techs.

carfax reports clean title.

then it reports and accident and a day later is "frame damage reported"

title on carfax is still clean!
