I Need Some Help

My driver side seat slider in my 95 Wrangler is broken. I have ordered a replacement part from RUGGED RIDGE but it doesn't fit. It has holes spaced 12 1/2 inches on center and the factory seats have holes 14 inches on center. Does any one have any ideas on how to replace the slider? Did anyone have this problem before? I have tried junk yards and EBAY, no luck yet. Also I heard that JEEP changed the design of the seats in 90 or 91. Does anyone know if this is true? The replacement sliders state that they will fit all Wranglers up to a 95. If they changed the design this would answer why they don't fit.

BESTOP also makes a replacement slider. They are the same as the RUGGED RIDGE.

Re: I Need Some Help

When you say slider, are you talking about the two surfaces that slide next to each other in the seat or some other part?

It might be best to replace the entire seat, either with one from another Wrangler or an aftermarket one.
