v6-v8 swap help

i did everything, but now i dont know what to do with the computer...can anyone help me?..i need to know what computer will work with the 350..

my truck is a 1992 GMC sierra, had the 4.3L V6..now has the 5.7L V8...5 speed

the original V6 computer service number is
1228747 AKWA
86AKWA K391310440

..i have no idea what those are all about, but someone told me i need to know those numbers to find out what computer i need...so if anyone can help..plz let me know..i really want to get the truck running..

i found a computer with the service number 1227747..theres one number off..and the guy said it's for a 1989 sierra with the 5.7L...fully loaded..not sure if it will work in my truck...

I am pretty sure that you can use the same computer, you just need to get a chip for a 350 5-speed for 92.
