One Hundred and Eighty!!!!! (many pics)

Finally finished this off today, its been in a state of limbo for months awaiting molds etc. I've gone for a show car feel yet it goes out drifting on weekends! Paint is Peugeot Topaz Blue from Halfords which looks silver in the pics but has blueish hue similar to Walter's Revell 360 and does look a stunning colour in the flesh! This is the Tamiya kit and its fitted with my resin transkit which is based on Bomex items and soon available to all!!!

Rims; 18" AME Modelart Excellent by Aoshima treated to a spray of TS-42 light gunmetal.

Interior; Used Humbrol enamel's, the white had a few drops of the same blue used on the seats to give it a very slight blueish hue but its not quite so evident in these pics. Self adhesive carpet has been added to the floor, door panels and parcel shelf. Etched belt buckles and webbing are from MRM. CF decal added to gear stick knob.

Hope u like?

Veyron - boring car??? you're crazy! the 180SX is a beautiful machine. i'm hoping to buy one in the coming months. anyways, FOTW, friggin awesome work dude. i have a Fujimi 180SX Type-X kit in the ranks waiting for assembly and i'm very interested in that transkit for mine. i don't like the stock bumper the type-x comes with. LMK when it's available. i tried to do a show car interior like that on my S14 Silvia (white and french blue), but it didn't come out looking anywhere near as nice as yours did. very VERY nice work.

I agree, it is a cool car! Still awaiting Dan's (daggerlee) results on wether it will fit the Fujimi kit. Our initial thoughts are that it shouldn't pose too much of a problem but it is intended to fit the Tamiya kit so if you see one of those, grab one while you can coz they aint makin em right now!

Chris, I don't think I've ever seen a finished project from you since I became a member back in April of this year. Well executed! Excellent fit and finish of your resin pieces.

If I could do that car with that specific kit, I think I would like to use some BBS type mesh rims with a nice deep lip. I think I'm gonna go get a 180sx just for that! When is it available?

I say, "Bring on the Bodykits Chris!". -Walter

Your absolutely right! I forgot to mention that in all my time of being a member here and with over a 1000 posts this is the first completed kit i have shown. I did complete an Impreza that was left 70% completed in a 2 year hiatus but i never had my digi cam then. The lack of completed models is just down to the direction i'm heading in with Scaleautostyle, many of my nearly finished race and rally cars have been shelved while i concentrate on it.
