Vss in is pin AB gray wire feed to speedometer.
PCM/VCM VSS out is pin C2 DK/green wire

That's not advisable. Interrupting the signal will cause transmission shift problems (loss of 1st, 2nd, and OD), and disable the ABS.

Keeps people from trying to get around the speed limiter, and disabling the mileage odometer.....

But as said it is not advisable.
Can led to complications and may be illegal under speedometer fraud laws.
With the newer computer system the mileage info may be stored in the pcm and body pcm to.
Do so at your own risk.

i just finnished and it is the dark green wire going into instrument cluster. take cluster out of dash, disconnect wiring harness, splice wire and connect to toggle switch. now you only put on mileage when you turn switch on. drove for about 2 hours with no side efects at all.
