Best Tuner Car ????

hey guys i just joined this forum.. just a quick question..

what do you guys think is the best tuner car if i am looking to make up to about 700 hp 800 hp max and have good handling as well??

i researched cars such as the evo and wrx sti but realized they are too much of a cop magnet and insurance guzzler..i then looked at the is300, 350z, rsx type-s, and some others...

thanks

Well, I dunno about cop magnets/insurance, (I know the Evo is classed as a compact, I assume the rex is too) but out of the ones you listed: 350z will handle best, and probably be the only way you'll hit 700 ponies for any significant amount of time.

I second this. Any tuner car is gonna be a cop magnet unless it is completely stock on the outside and even then the noise of 700 horses.......................

Re: Best Tuner Car ????

The end all be all tuner car would have to be any muscle car made before 1971 (emissions ftl). They have been known to pump out well over 1600hp, over 1900ft/lbs of torque (not even kidding), and run 7's and even low 6's in the 1/4 in street trim.

As far as current, easier to find and cheaper cars, I would have to say skylines, vipers, 350zs, evos, wrx, SRT-4s, M3s, mustang gts, and etc. the list goes on.
