2001 Buick LeSabre Dash reads "John"

How do I configure my control center to not read "John" when the car is started? This condition started to present after someone else tried to open my car with their remote.

Please Advise.

Maybe the original owner was named John..

Proubbly not, but maybe he accidentally put his house key in the car ignition and the car was asking him if he intended to spend the night!

My 2001 Park Avenue read "Hello Jana" when I bought it. In order to change it, you have to go to the dealer or a mechanic who has the diagnostic machine. They can change it to say whatever you want. You can have a separate greeting for "Driver 1" and "Driver 2" and it will use the corresponding greeting based on which remote was used to unlock the door. I hear dealers charge quite a bit (like an hour's labor) to do this. I was lucky and my mechanic (who I've used for ages) did mine for nothing.
