Replacing clock backlight...

My dad has a 2000 Honda Accord, and the backlight on his clock died. Anyone know where I could find out how to fix this? He has the bulb he needs, but we aren't quite sure on how to replace it.

This is a nice way to learn your car - start taking things apart until you have access to the bulb Where is the clock on this car situated?

haha, I would love to, but I don't think he trusts me with his car enough to let me just start taking things apart randomly. Anyways, its in the front panel of the dash. There are 2 big screws at the bottom of it. My dad says he took them out and couldn't get anything to move. But that's about all I know, as I haven't really done much more then glance at it so far.

I would love to help you but I really have no idea. Have you posted it in the Honda forum?

you need to pry it out with screwdriver, start from sides, but be careful.
