Question Prepping for turbo installation questions

I read a string on another bulletin board about how upgrading everything to MSD products (ignition,ss coil, wires...etc) before installing a turbo would help detonation. Question is, if i don't put the turbocharger on right away, will the engine still run properly with the new MSD items put in?

yes, if everything is wired correctly. your car may even run better. but if installed wrong, your car may suffer many electrical difficulties and may be a pain in the ass!
