Re: old school subs

Rockfords dont really pound all that well anymore. However i did have a set of old polk EX II 12's from about 96-97 so about 10 year old subs. And they put alot of stuff to shame.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: old school subs

No they put new stuff to shame cause the enclosure and the enclosure aim. They only had 75 rms going to each and i was able to hit off 138db. My new setup issingle 15" 200 watts, 3.5 cuft proted to 32hz and it hits so much harder than the polks did, and it sounds so much cleaner

Re: old school subs

speakers can last a long time if they are kept out of the sun and not abused (too much power)
