|
low coolant sensor goes on what direction?
The lo coolant sensor on my 95' lumina (3.1) popped off the radiator, and I don't which way it should face. It appears to go with wires up or down but I do't know which. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

If the sensor popped off, it would be blowing coolant out through the hole....it sounds like the sensor fell apart...

Old post,
But the sensor goes in with the connector pointing down. At least that's the way my 92 is. My Step Daughter's Sensor just popped out of the rad tonight on her 93 for some odd reason and i had to look at my 92 to figure it out. This one may not of been pushed in all the way and the clip didn't catch. Any way's it over heated and reinstalled the sensor and were hoping for the best.
