My website
Hey, I've been on and off here lately.
Anyway I thought I would share with you guys my new website. The idea to make a website was brought about by me and my 2 main buddies. We have a back yard garage in ...uh..my backyard where we work on our cars and go carts and all kinds of different stuff and we are now starting to work on other people's stuff. So we wanted to put our name out there. We will all rock out the shops logos on our cars to attract traffic to our website. I just started the website a few days ago so I havn't got nearly the stuff on it that will be on it eventually. The site is www.ballsoutperformance.com and our shop is Balls Out Performance, how clever huh? On the site I have a main page where I will be posting our crew's news and updates. Then I have a "The cars" page where the cars will be displayed with a link to a page devoted to each seperate car. I only my eclipse and my buddie DJ Hoss' sonoma on it so far, there are probly 3 or 4 more cars that will be added in the next few days. Eventually I will add a page called "The Crew" which will tell about each of us three along with pictures. We all have nick names that we call each other...I'm "Stick", then there is "DJ Hoss", and then there is "Slim Pickins". More on that when I add that page to the site. Next I will probably have a "About Us" page just talking about the shop and us in general. There will also be a "Contact Us" page with our address, number, email address and other ways to get up with us. There will be alot more pics added to the site then the way it is now. I think thats all I have came up with so far. So check out Balls Out Performance's web site and tell me what you think and what we can do to improve on it. Keep in mind it is still a work in progress. www.Ballsoutperformance.com vanilla g.

Re: My website
I think it looks pretty good. The main page could be layed out a bit better. Maybe make the name actually the "Main" part of the top of the page, and stuff like that. But once you get things coming together, alot of that should just come to you.

Re: My website
Niiice... need to work on that layout a little, but that pic was f'in hilarious...
I'm sure with more content it will fill out better, just make sure it's easy to navigate... it's easier to navigate a pretty basic page rather than one that's all spiced up with images that has no organization... I suggest looking at other sites that are pertaining to similar things you will be doing (i.e. selling, installing, etc...) I also suggest looking at sites that are very popular and successful... try to incorporate their main features while adding your information and twist... GL, and keep us updated...

Re: My website
I like it so far. One suggestion, dont have the images resize with onMouseOver. If you do have that, make the images expand some place else. It resizes the pages and makes it hard to get the full picture of the pic and the site.
I can't type what I'm saying. Basically, have the images blow up in a space assigned for the larger images, not where the user has the mouse at.
