Dash Lights
Anyone have any shortcuts on changing a few bulbs in the dash? Behind the speedometer, fuel guage & temp guage. Plus behind the driver side temp slide (driver side out and passenger side on), in the HVAC controls (a/c, heater, etc)?
Or is a PITA and just let the dealer do it??? I'd rather try it, before the dealer charges $90/hour for a $1.00 bulb. -Tom  opcorn:

i had this same problem..but it's not the bulbs...its the headlamp/dimmer switch..it is very easy to switch out. I paid $60 for my part and i switched it out myself..the dealer wanted to charge me $200..and it only took me like 30 mins tops to do it myself...

Dash bulbs are not serviceable as they a soldered onto the printed circuit board. Stupid GM putting a incandesant bulb that is not changeable with out soldering it in.
