I have new brakes on my 'burb and they pull bad to the left now. Been back and forth to the dealer got new rotor's so it should be good????
Also have a whinning/rubbing noise in the steering only when turning to the left. The dealer's tried to fix this numerous times but still hasn't. Anyone got any ideas??????????? I'm about ready to tell them to take this used suburban and keep it. |

Re: uneven braking and a whine in the steering
I'm not sure about the steering, but your front brake hose(s), specifically the right one, is most likely plugged. Same thing happened to me. If you want to deter future hassle, just replace both brake hoses on the front. It's relatively inexpensive.

Re: uneven braking and a whine in the steering
Did it start pulling after the brakes were replaced? Before replacing the line, take it back to where you had the brakes done and tell them what it's doing. I'd guess if it started right after a brake job, whoever worked on it got grease on the pads. They should take care of it if it started pulling right after the brake job.

Re: uneven braking and a whine in the steering
the whining sound could be that your low on power steering fluid?
or do yo have large tires that could be rubbing? |
