Airbag light on
It flashes at startup, then stays on. Someone suggested checking connections. Where are those connections???

Re: Airbag light on
Messing with the airbag system is risky. You may not find too much help. Static electricity can set off a bag..

Re: Airbag light on
Try tilting your steering wheel in different positions and see if the light flickers or goes out. My wife started driving my blazer and would lower the steering wheel every time she got in and raise it to get out. Eventually, she broke the air bag wire about a 1/4" away from the air bag. Luckily, I was able to strip the wire with a very sharp knife, slide over a piece of shrink tubing, solder the ends and seal the connection with the shrink wrap. If it blew, I was forward of and below the steering wheel anyway. Unless you like taking chances, I'd suggest, as stated by d3, have it replaced for you.

Re: Airbag light on
Check the fuse first and if you go into the steering wheel pull the fuse or you will probably set it off!
