My key broke off into my cylinder so i bought new one

im not spending 250 to do all this dealership stuff becuase my dumbass threw the original key away so i need to know the easiest way to bypass the vat system and where to get the resistors i plan to try all 15 till i get the right one unless they sell a box that does all 15

Use a 20K potentiometer. Connect it to the key sensor wires at the base of the steering column. Dial up a resistance one at a time, turn on the ignition, and watch the "SECURITY" lamp. When you get the correct resistance, it will stop flashing. You'll probably have to wait 4-5 minutes between attempts, but it's better than 15 key blanks (one of which is obsolete) for $8 apiece.
