C-West 350z transkit preview

Here's a peek at my version of the above pictured future release from C-West. I'm not going to claim that this is completely accurate coz all i've had to work on are those two pics which in themselves are out of proportion.

What you see here is just a dry fit so please excuse big gaps between body parts etc as it just bonded with tape. This will be one of the first Scale Auto Style releases and parts are being molded and cast in the next couple of days. The transkit includes - front and rear bumpers and side skirts. No wing as in the pics above coz to do it properlly it will require etched wing supports that differ from those in my planned set. However i may do it if it sells well, the below pics just show a mock-up wing.

LMK what y'all think!?

if you put that transkit into production, i will buy a 350Z JUST so i can have that kit on it. that is beautiful. you should be very proud of your skills. you can be sure that if that get's produced, i, for one, will buy it.

Chris,
I have enough af a chore trying to do some bodykit pieces on the cars themselves, but to make separate pieces as masters for resin? Now that's a chore! Amazing work for your business. I have the time, but not enough resources ( no job ) to attempt stuff like that. Trying to finish the several customer kits right now. Hope to see some more real soon, as I'd like to try out a few of your pieces when available. Impressive!

Oh yeah, i forgot the bonnet! As for the air guide thingy, i had planned to include a template so it can be cut from plastic sheet.

Price??? Not confirmed yet but around £8.50

looking nice im sure to buy it when it comes out. How long does it take u to make a copy for just one transkit? do u just pour the resin in a mold and let it dry then pop it out and its done?

That is sweet! Could I buy the transkit, even though I'm in the U.S. Also, about how much is 8.50 in U.S. dollars.

Its not a lengthy process, once the mold is made - over a couple of days - casts can be made quickly as resin sets in a few minutes.
