Cool Re: No heat in seats

Do you have a Grand Cherokee?

There is a separate part of the forum for owners that are knowledgeable in the Grand (you can search that area):

Re: No heat in seats

OOps moved back to Cherokee.....

When you say "switch light", what is that exactly? I would think it indicated the switch that turns it on is bad. After that I'd check the fuses first, then the wiring.

Hey mate,

Sorry to say, but here in the States, they didn't sell that model. But...I'll bet they use some of the stuff from the Grand for those heated seats.

They probably have a timer module so the seat don't over heat. My experience with seat heater are that the seat element goes bad (from sitting on it all the time). Try using a Grand Cherokee diagram.

Or get scrap yard parts from a Jaguar, the seat element can be pulled out. Beware, they go bad too. Dealer might have them though.
