My 97 Blazer Problems Please Help

I have a 97 blazer 4x4 and my check engine light came on and i feels like it is starting in a high gear and i doesnt change gears when i drive. I took it and got diagnostics and got codes for my transmission they are 741 and 1860. Also it doesnt have the original transmiision the model is 4T60E. Can anyone tell me what they mean and what i can do to fix it.

Re: My 97 Blazer Problems Please Help

Your codes are transmission torque converter codes and not related to the fuel injection.
On the passenger side of the trans. there's a 20 wire connector. Wiggle the connector pushing down to make the connection better. Check the wires leaving the trans going up toward the motor, feeling where a wire might be hung on a piece of casting flash or pinched between the motor & trans. or the dipstick tube and trans.
Get the DTC reset then see if it comes back.
