First Car A 1977...

Thinking about getting a 1977 Lincoln town car for 2500, in good condition with a 460 engine. What do you all think?

I would look for a better car personaly. For a first car you want something a little more reliable.

Aside from reliability issues, you reeeally don't want a heavy car with a big motor for your first car unless you got a lot of money for gas.

Yeah that car is going to get like 4 mpg...on the highway, less in town.
