What's the best brand?

I have a 99 Civic and plan to get a fully custom stereo setup in my trunk soon. I plan to go all out with subs, amp/s, capacitors, Batteries, and maybe a DVD player or PS2. I wanted to go with one product all thhe way through for as much as possible. I currently have a Pioneer Premier headdeck that I plan to replace soon. I like the Pioneer products and want to know if other people out there like Pioneer or what you think is the best brand to go all out on? I don't want to compete that much but I want to have some bass and to pop my trunk and have some jealous people. Thanx.

Alpine is good. They pretty much make good everything. The Head Units are very very nice, and then Subs are very good as well.

Yea, I agree...If you want to go with the same brand throughout, your best bet would probably be Alpine. They make heads, dvd players, EQs, amps, subs, components, speakers, just about everything.

I agree with Alpine.
Kenwood is another option to consider.

just out of curiosity, why stick to one brand ? I agree though, keeping the electronics (head unit, processor, DVD player, navigation, etc ...) is often a good idea and many time a necessity because of compatibilty.

If you really wanna stick out and fork out the dough get an eclipse system, it will be worth every penny. I think alpine is over rated .
