Angry starting problem.....please help!!!-99 alero

I have a 99 alero. It will start and then die after about 2 seconds. I've had to fuel pump and filter replaced. It still does it. There is no security light so I don't think it has to do with that. The fuel injectors work and then stop working also. The car will run as long as starter fluid is sprayed in the intake. A GM guy said it was the ignition module but that was replaced and I still have the same problem. All the fuses and relays have been checked. When its hooked up to a computer the computer can't find anything wrong. I'm getting good fuel pressure up to the engine also. Any suggestions?!?!

Re: starting problem.....please help!!!

It would help to know what engien......
But it could be a couple things here.

Check all the wires on your ignition system for breaks or loose connections.
Also check around the intake manifold for vacum leaks,
either loose bolts/nuts or a vacum hose leaking bad.

You could also have something in your emission syst failing.

And Welcome to AF.
