wiper problems

my windscreen wipers are not working propely on intermittent they glide acros then stick then about 10 seconds after move back i have no problems on the faster speeds only intermittent can someone help please

just wondering did you find the problem, as i have the same
problem on my rover 25

yep it was my wiper motor (a cylinder thing under the bonet directly under the wipers) one of the components one it had burned out so i got a second hand one fitted and works perfect now hope this helps
