Favourite GTR Livery

Hello all

There is a thread somewhere in the far reaching depths of AF.com concerning favourite GTR livery but at the mo I cant find it, and rather than trawl through all the threads to find it, I thought I'd pop this here -

Mclarenautomotive.com is running a poll through their website to see what people's favourite F1 GTR livery is :

PS - I wonder why is there no Jacardi car, or Franck Muller car or white Gulf car OR LARK CAR (Cheers Andybee!!! )...?

The same ones which appear in that earlier thread - '96 Gulf and '95 Davidoff.

The reason I'm not voting for the Le Mans winner was mentioned by zx4000 - "main business of Ueno Clinic is relative to medical (particularly urology and proctology)"

It does look great, but I just can't get behind that if you know what I mean.

i voted on the '97 Longtail GTR in 'Davidoff / Day Off' colours (i like 20R in particular) looks great up close

If they did the car in basic white they'd be able to offer decal sheets for quite a few liveries and keep their cost down. I can't imagine that Model Workshop is a big enough operation to have them done by tampo printing and having a skilled work force hand applying decals isn't going to be cheap. Applying a complex livery by decals alone isn't for the novice or the faint-hearted but the results can be excellent if a quality supplier is used.

I suppose my fav would have to be the Gulf cars with a leaning towards the BPR version over the LeMans cars. All a bit academic anyway since I won't be buying any 1/12 GTRs any time soon!

definatly the '95 gulf.

others i like are the West, Lark, Ueno, Fina, Harrods. probably in that order from best to not so best.

Ueno with grey and black.

For the 1/12, Ueno or Harrod's because it's in tribute to Magic Senna
