Antifreeze question
I have a 1994 Lumina witha 3.1L engine. I recently changed the thermostat and the upper radiator hose. Since then i have noticed that the antifreeze in the radiator don't get hot but the hose that I changed is hot.
Is there blockage somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Re: Antifreeze question
If you didn't bleed the air out of the cooling system after changing the t-stat, it's possible that there is air trapped in the engine which isn't allowing proper coolant circulation.

Re: Antifreeze question
Ditto. You're airlocked. Open the bleeders and fill w/engine off, run to operating temp, let cool for 15 minutes or so, open bleeders and fill, repeat until you get no air when you open them.
