Oil Light Problem

My 96 Golf's oil light keeps beeping at low and high rpms not usually in between. I also have a minor oil leak if anyone could help me fix it that would be helpfull.

make sure the oil pressure sensor wire is well connected, oil pressure sensors, are cheap from any anftermarket retailer, do yourself a favour for and old beast like that and instal one of those dash mounted guage kits.

Replace the high and low pressure oil sensors. there about 20.00 total for both at the dealer (ones blue on the side of the cyliner head and ones black on the oil filter housing)

If it still happens, then relplace the oil pump (common problem)
