Exhaust

I have a stock exhaust and am looking to make it louder without ruining the quality of the tone.....anyone have any tips on how i should do that?

also looking for a cheap way to do it. i am not one to beef up my exhaust so i can drive down the street to annoy people... i am looking to enter a few local shows and want to have a good sound. oh and to add to it i DON'T have a cat on my car.

Use whatever mufflers you want to get the tone you're after, ditch the tailpipes and instead run the muffler outlets through pipes that exit ahead of the rear wheels.

Think NASCAR.
