Re: VS series 3 stopping

How well services is it?

I wonder if its something silly like the gear box over heating, throwing a code, and shutting the car down?

Yes somebody said that to me allready .I'll get the mechanic to look at that when I get it serviced next... My mate said as I go up hill the fuel rushes back over the pump and may cause it to flood or stop pumping . Though It never splutters and stops..It just stops instantly..As you are the second person to mention that to me I might just change the pump at the tank and see how it goes...I will let you know how it turns out....THANKS...

Serviced regularly..I got the gear box serviced last service..## THOUGH Last time it stopped the gearbox light came on ...on the dash....This has only come on once and it has stopped about 15 times...The hills It stops on are just normal inclines, not mountains....so to speak...I guess I'll find out when the mechanic hooks up the computer...I Will let you know..Regards Gavin...

Re: VS series 3 stopping

Thanks to you people who put in your 2 cents and giving me some idears to work with....I took the car to the shop and got him to check what the computer had to say about things and it came up with crank sensor....He has changed this so I hope it solves the problem of stopping all the time....It was getting worse in the last month....If it does not fix the problem I'll let you know.....Thanks again for your time fellers.......Regards Gavin....
