JGC 2003 Code P1492 HELP!!!
2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE
MY PROBLEM IS.... I HAD SOMETHING FIXED AT A GARAGE DEALING WITH THE COOLING FAN BECAUSE THE MODULAR HAD A MALFUNCTION THEY SAID. MY JEEP WAS OVERHEATING. A DAY LATER A GET A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. AT AUTOZONE THEY SAID IT IS A P1492 ( APLSOL SOLENOID CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION) THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE. DOES ANYONE?

Here is what I found for the P1492
Ambient/Battery Temperature Sensor Volts Too High - External temperature sensor input above acceptable voltage. Sounds like maybe something was disconnected during the repair? I would take it back and see what they say. Take Care,
