2000 Pathfinder Stalling when in reverse
My 2000 Pathfinder sputters when first started and put in reverse then runs fine. Then occasionaly starts sputtering while idling at a traffic light. I have to put it in neutral and then it is fine. I have replaced the plugs, wires and distributor cap and the problem still persists. No error codes present.
Please help |

Re: 2000 Pathfinder Stalling when in reverse
Check the easy checks first, like open vacume lines. These would give you a hiss or sucking sound under the hood. But in todays electronic cars, it's hard to trouble shoot on such problem without having the car present.

Make sure the air filter is clean and not full of nesting bits from a mouse, too.
