Perks of being a valet

So I was working valet at this resturaunt here in Nashville and this sweet ass car pulled up that looked a lot like a Mercedes. It was a relatively slow day, so I perked up a little bit. Turns out it was a Maybach (made by Mercedes). I thought to myself that this had to easily be a $200,000 car. I was super careful pulling it out of the valet area because there were cars line up on both sides of the alley. But once I pulled onto the main avenue I got on it but almost immediately let off because turns out it's a 600HP turbo V12. Waaaay more kick than I was expecting. The stopping power was perfectly balanced though because it had dual calipers on the front discs; something I'd never seen before. I looked his car up when I got home and turns out it's a ~$390,000 car. Oh the level of fucked I would've been had I wrecked that beast... Just thought I'd share a little short story with everybody.

Nice, you got to drive a Maybach! Personally, I think that the new Rolls Phantom gets my vote as far as class and look go for cars in that league, but no doubt the Benz has more oomph to it.

And that is exactly why nobody will ever drive my car except me. lol

I could never do that job. With my luck I would get blamed for some little knick or scratch in it from somebody else.

Re: Perks of being a valet

That is exactly why I turn on my emission via Dsmlink when I valet my car. Makes my CEL come on. I've even pointed out to the Valet that my car had better not come back with a CEL on knowing perfectly well when the car starts it's going to throw a code..
