interested and looking

sorry if this is longwinded or wat not, but i'm just new here trying to find some info.

hi ya'll. i'm a young guy not even out of highschool and i'm looking for a truck to replace my old ass 1987 b2000. i live in alabama and i am starting a yard work/small time construction business. i've been looking for a nice looking, reliable, can get me to school, work, maybe a few races to shut up these slow ass ricers in my town, peppy, can pull loads, engines, trailors, u-hauls, and is extended cab with a long bed. a bunch of my friends told me to look at tacomas, and i did. they're cool. but then another friend showed me his ranger. damn was it nice. it had everything i wanted except it had an auto and not powerful enough engine. i think it was the 4 cylinder. anyways. that's wat i want/need. i've come here first to see wat i cna get. i'm looking at the 1993-1997 models and i like them. wat i would like to kno is... is there a deisel engine that can be dropped in to it? prefferably something that doesnt take a ton of modification.

well thanks ya'll in advanced.

Re: interested and looking

3.0 are ok especially if you have no air conditioning, 4.0 are gas hogs but have decent power and 4 cylinders are ok if you do not have automatic tranny
