Bad Luck with Brake Pads.....
Hey guys, i have a set of Brembo Cadmium Plated Cross Drilled Rotors for my car, and i have heard that AEM/Nissin Ceramic Brake Pads were supossed to be good. Well, for about a month or so, they were great. I broke them in like i was suposed to, i never really brake hard, but for some reason, i must have gotten the bad apple out of the bunch.... The pads were so thin, and wore out so quick! I was pissed!
Well, it came to a point where the sensor was about to eat up my rotors, so i immediatly called up my HOOKUP, and got me a set of Axxis Metal Master Pads. I also hear they are supossed to be good pads. Well, i hope these last longer...... What are you guys running, Brake wise.... Are Axxis Metal Master Pads any good?

Re: Bad Luck with Brake Pads.....
I've also got Axxis Metal-Master pads.
I've got the Brembo OEM replacement rotors, but I haven't installed them yet... I can't brust the bolts loose on my drivers-side caliper.

Tried WD-40 and Liquid Wrench with a socket wrench and a big cheater-bar... no luck. On the passenger side, I put the wrench (with the cheater-bar) on the bolt, and used my scissor jack under the wrench handle to get it loose... Didn't work on the drivers-side though.

im running AEM/Nissan pads, with J-power crossed and slotted rotors. they are awesome. had then for about a year, they are just fine. the only thing i dont like about the rotors are they always get a thin layer of rust on them, but will go away when i drive.

Powerslots and AEM/Nissin Pads in the front...drums in the rear
I have had the pads and rotors for over a year and they are absolutely great for what I do with the car. I wouldn't do any auto-x or road course racing on them but for spirited back road driving and daily driving they are great.
