Valve cover powdercoated!!
Finally got mine done and back today. I had a local shop, called Lo Ko, located in Oak Lawn IL. They have a nice little powdercoating shop there. Paid $85, and it was worth every penny. I creamed myself when I seen it. These pictures don't do it justice. I need to take them outside, but it's cold as hell. It's a candy apple red metallic like with a clean coat, and the raised letters are brushed. Again, pictures don't do shit for it.
Tried to get lighting right to show metallic-isity...

That's sweet man. I'm almost done with mine. It's metallic burnt orange (matches my car almost perfectly) and I've almost got the letters to a chrome finish.

I likey... kinda the same deal on my vc, cept I painted mine... and for a lot less... but again, I like... had I the money, I woulda went with the powder...
